Act as a neutral mediator guiding parties toward a voluntary settlement.
Overview
Mediation participants serve as neutral facilitators who help disputing parties communicate, identify interests, and reach a mutually acceptable resolution. This track develops empathy, active listening, reframing and process-management skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to undergraduate and master's level students enrolled at a recognised institution. No prior ADR experience is required, though it is an advantage.
Application Requirements
A completed application form, a CV/resume, a motivation statement (max 500 words), and proof of current enrolment.
Application Timeline
Applications open in February 2026 and close on 15 July 2026. Shortlisting results are published in late July 2026.
Selection Process
Applications are evaluated on academic standing, motivation, and demonstrated interest in dispute resolution. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to a short interview.
Format
Participants compete in simulated mediation sessions across preliminary, semi-final and final rounds, each assessed by a panel of expert judges.
